A unique facility, the Camperio House is situated in the very heart of Milan, in the midst of the cultural, business and fashion centres, within easy walking distance of the Sforza Castle, the Duomo cathedral, the opera house alla Scala, the Stock Exchange, and all the main shopping precincts. Camperio Hotel is located in the vital centre of Milano, in Via Manfredo Camperio which was named in honour of the famous XIX century explorer of Libya.
It is situated in a XV century historical building, originally a church and convent. During the Renaissance it was a cultural enclave playing host to painters and sculptors, and became a breeding ground for great artists. Following WWII the building was restored and extended in the ’60s; recently it has been completely refurnished under the protection of the Monuments and Fine Arts Office.
