If your budget doesn't stretch to a trip on a luxury ocean liner the author Raymond Gill, suggests you "Forget about adventuring or being a cultural pilgrim. Lie back and luxuriate a little" at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne. He highly praises the bedroom ("glamorously spacious"), bed ("padded in quality"), health centre ("far superior to any other city hotel in Melbourne")and the food at the hotels restaurant (the Radii). He didn't like the bath and had slight difficulties with the air conditioning and his door key. However his "only regret was leaving the next morning". Though not mentioned [more]

The author describes the Park Hyatt Hotel, Melbourne as an "elegant hotel" and goes on to say that it is located "right next to Fitzroy Gardens and opposite St. Patrick's Cathedral" and that there are views over "some of the city's most beautiful historic buildings". We are told that the decor in the bedrooms is done in "warm colors" with "rich wood paneling, and art deco-style furnishings" and all of these rooms boast "walk-in wardrobes, king-sized beds, Italian marble bathrooms, and roomy modern work spaces".
