[spanishalex, 09/11/2011] Cordial Green Golf is among the higher quality mid-range bungalow complexes in the Maspalomas resort on Gran Canaria. It has over 250 two-storey balconies arranged around two long swimming pools. One of the pools is heated. The gardens around the pools are well kept and full of tropical flowers and even orange trees.
Each bungalow in Cordial Green Golf has a small downstairs patio, living room and kitchen with all the standard equipment. The televisions are coin-operated. Upstairs is a bathroom and single bedroom with a small balcony. The best bungalows look out directly onto the pools but

[spanishalex, 09/11/2011] Club Vista Serena is a tranquil oasis tucked away in a corner sprawling resort of Maspalomas on Gran Canaria. The complex, with only 40 apartments centred on a swimming pool, has a friendly, intimate feel. A small shop and poolside bar serving food mean that you only have to venture out into the real world if you want to.
The rooms are very well equipped, reflecting the Club Vista Serena's former life as a luxury time-share resort. Each room boasts a complete kitchen with coffee machine and a television that doesn't require feeding with coins. Ground floor rooms boast a small terrace while u

[clintop1, 05/06/2011] Stayed there for 7 days 3 weeks ago.
No entertainment as expected due to very few people there.
No air conditioning in the basic accommodation,
Charged 12 euros each to hire toaster and kettle.
Pay as you go old TV which only showed Spanish or German channels.
Right out in the sticks.
Exoensive shop on site.
[koala17, 12/08/2010] The rooms are perfect
The pools are clean
The service at the reception is excellent
The food at the restaurant is not so exciting!
My overall impression is VERY GOOD!
[micksheff, 07/08/2010] The Dunes of Maspolamas are a very bizarre sight when you see them for the first time and they serve as a stark reminder that the nearest landmass to the Canary Islands is the West Coast of Africa. Beyond that African coastline the Sahara Desert is a mere stones throw away. I've seen the Sahara Desert (in Southern Tunisia) and visually at least there are many similarities at first glance between that and the Maspolomas Dunes. That said however when you explore these dunes a little closer you quickly realise that this is a unique environment that is quite unlike anything else on Earth.

[micksheff, 31/03/2010] It was about 15 years ago when I first visited Mundo Aborigen on Gran Canaria and the memory stayed with me so when I was back on the island recently I promised to take my other half there and planned a return trip. It is described as a "pre-Hispanic theme park" but don't expect to find fun rides or anything that the phrase "theme park" conjures up, because if you do I'm afraid you'll be very disappointed. If however you are interested in ancient cultures and civilisations then you are in for a treat.
Located high in the mountains overlooking the coastal resorts of Playa Del Ingles and Maspol

[moman1985, 06/08/2008] Just back from the place a week ago and its a horrible place, the staff are grumpy at best and give out while serving you.The night porter is a lunitic who atacked one of us with a pool cue for arriving home to late it was 4:00am.The rooms are clean but not great, you can rent air con machines no one will tell you so ask as the rooms can be very very hot.Bar closes at 10 which is very annoying as there is no night entertainment actually no entertainment at all.Would never go there again its a horrible place
