[Praskipark, 08/01/2010] The Sigismund Column is a popular meeting place for the people of Warsaw especially students and young couples. It is also a popular photo-stop for tourists. The figure of the king on the column stands in the centre of Castle Square in front of the Royal Castle.The column is the oldest secular monument in Warsaw and the second oldest in Poland.
