[jaouibeh, 14/01/2012] I have travelled the world and I can say that this is one of my favourite place to stay.
It's charming, quiet, beautiful, so clean, safe, and the staff is very friendly.
You'll stay away from the very loud Marrakech, but it's easy and fast to get to it.
My tips : Get the Zagora suite (view on the swimming pool), and ask for a "tajine" and some "briwates" :) -- So Good
A great place to have a romantic and relaxing stay.
[jaouibeh, 14/01/2012] We stayed for a week and saw other reviews recommending the Kasbah. We chose the twin room it was the same on the picture on the web site, but when we arrived we was upgrade to a junior suite with balcony and bath and more space.
The whole property was extremely clean and the staff, especially the waiting staff, were just brilliant and so friendly.
Would we recommend the Kasbah? yes most definitely if you are not planning on going into Town regularly.
[Cloudy_O, 09/01/2012] We had a fab time at Riad Al Ksar. The location is superb with the Bahia Palace, Badi Palace and Museum Dar Si Said literally on the door step und Djeema El Fna only a scenic stroll through the Souks away. Once you step in to the Riad host Damian & Oliver make you feel very much at home and provide a peaceful environment where you can catch some breath after a day out in the ‘madness’ of Marrakech. The rooftop is particularly inviting to have breakfast or sit back and enjoy the sunset over the city. The treatment in the hammam is well worth it and a must when visiting the place. We had a great

[kiwounette, 07/12/2011] The Dar Najat (Riad) is only 5 mins walk to the Medina. The staff are very helpful and friendly and all our requests were immediately met and nothing was too much trouble. The typical Moroccan food was excellent and would recommend anyone to eat there in the delightful ambiance of the riad. We would have no hesitation in returning and we thank the team for helping to make our stay in Marrakech so wonderful.
We will come back!
[DJjay18, 21/11/2011] After a long exchange of e-mails between myself and the owner Olliver, we decided to book direct with him. His answers to my questions, always very promptly, certainly helped with my decision to book.
The welcome dinner we had for booking minimum 4 nights direct was unbelievable! Lamb tagine with lots of spiced vegetables etc - without question the BEST meal we had anywhere on a 5 night trip. Breakfast was also tasty, served in the morning sun on the top terrace, which was beautiful. The whole riad was just beautiful - my first impression when we arrived mid-evening was 'wow', the lighting

[Marco971, 10/11/2011] Attention to the packaging of spices will tell you that are 120 grams and are 80!
Herbalist really expensive, I suggest you go to the Jewish quarter of Marrakesh, where residents buy spices, this means cheaper prices and product quality.
[alastairmckee, 09/11/2011] This hotel is located quite far out of the city so that you are relient on the hotels driver to bring you in and out of the city as its location is not widely known.
When I arrived I was the only person staying there so was surprised when the ashtrays around the pool were not emptied and the pool toilet had not been flushed.
The next morning I was going early for a tour so was offered an early breakfast and the car into town. Neither of these things happened as I had to wake the staff myself and the lift into town left late. When I returned, the room was not cleaned, the towels were not chang

[alastairmckee, 09/11/2011] This was the first Riad that I stayed in Marrakesh. As a single traveller this was the first time I had been there and was nervous about it.
I was met at the airport so did not have to haggle with the driver and was brought straight to the Riad.
The staff were very friendly and did alot to give me advise about the area and what to expect. The breakfast was good with a selection of breads freshly made.
This was a great place to start my holiday and was delighted with all the help that the staff gave me.
Will return here if I go back to visit Marrakesh again
[alastairmckee, 09/11/2011] This was the second Riad that I stayed in while in Marrakesh. It is very difficult to find at first, and if you are not being met at the airport then it is worth asking to be shown the way and paying the 10 / 20 dirham for the help.
The Riad is beautiful inside, the rooms are relaxing and quiet and the staff were all very friendly, despite my french being terrible. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax and it was thoroughly cleaned each day, whether it was used or not. That level of cleanliness was apparent throughout the Riad.
During my stay I had problems with a tour I had booked ( th

I stayed there with my husband for three days in the 'red room' which, like the rest of the Riad had been furnished beautifully, with traditional Moroccan decor and fabrics, and was incredibly comfortable. We were served a traditional Moroccan dinner on our first night, and it was absolutely to die for! By far the best meal I had during my stay in Marrakesh.
The riad also had a beautiful roof top terrace where we enjoyed some cool beers and re

[ullaLDN, 19/08/2011] Definitely one of the finest boutique in Marrakech. Beautiful riad with very welcoming staff. Great rooms, spotless clean. FABULOUS LOCATION juts of the main square. Excellent on site restaurant too. Excellent ; loved it and will definitely come back.
[fidelma, 20/07/2011] A typical riad, stylishly and sympathetically renovated. It has all of the modern amenities you would want and expect - air-con / heating, great bathrooms, ipod docking stations etc.
Having four bedrooms, it is the perfect size to have all to yourselves, as we did travelling as a small group of friends.
The location really made it for us, in the Ksour area of the medina, but it was not so far in that you got hopelessly lost trying to get anywhere. Jemaa el Fna, with its cafes, restaurants, snake charmers and water-sellers, was within easy walking distance. From that point you really can find yo

[shamayla, 26/06/2011] We had a lovely stay in Riad Andalla. The room was very nice and we were upgraged to a suite at no extra charge. The owners were both super friendly and genuine people who gave us a list of places to see and restaurants to visit. If we go back to Marrakech we will definatley be staying at the Riad Andalla, without a doubt.

[TRON77, 17/06/2011] A secret surprise, clean, attentive, and the perfect blend of Moroccan and French Hospitality!
[AndrewGauld, 29/05/2011] Words can't really describe this place or the amazing people who own
and work here.
Laurent and Muriel are lovely people and care completely for their
guests. We felt like we were treated like royalty AND family at the
same time. Making guests happy makes them happy. The staff, especially
Kadija and Ibrahim, looked after us better than our own mums - and
their 3 lovely helpers kept the place super-clean and beautifully
presented at all times.
In such a crazy all-happening town as Marrakesh it is important to
have a lovely, quiet, welcoming 'home' to come back to whenever
needed.
We found the l

[EmmaLondon, 29/05/2011] We will come back very quickly in this lovely boutique hotel near Marrakech, surrounded by mountains.
The guesthouse is a little gem run by charming French, which puts you at ease when you arrive.
The valley is amazing and the locals are very welcoming. There are many beautiful walks to do around the house.
We recommend the following. It is not much more expensive than the other rooms but it's really an incredible view of the mountains.
Entire afternoon of reading beside the pool, accompanied by birdsong.
We really recommend this place!
[jbertat, 24/05/2011] After spending a couple of nights in the new town, driving through the gates to Kasbah Dar Ilham was like entering your own private oasis. The staff met us from our transfer with a calm and sincerity that immediately made us feel at home. Throughout our stay the staff couldn't have been more helpful, they arranged all of our day trips including all of transfers. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.
