Family and children
this hotel will not disappoint any child. it really is magical and on the numerous times iv visited it has lost very little of its appeal whether i am 5 years old or 18 years old. one of my favourite memories was when we first went when it opened and at check in i saw mary poppins and bert dancing on the grand staircase. you will not regret going to this hotel if you have children.
  • The room was beautifully decorated in a Fantasia style with hippos and crocodiles. It really was like a fairytale room, which any child would adore. Immaculately clean and the size was big enough for 4 people to share the 2 double beds making it ideal for families. The view overlooked the Disneyland park which makes it all the more exciting.

    Lobby Atmosphere
  • The hotel was absoloutely magical and the characters walk around to meet the children (and adults if it takes your fancy). however there were rather large queues to get to the characters for autographs and photos. The selection of restaurants is good and its also convenient that transport is provided to the other hotels to eat in the other hotel restaurants within the resort. The restaurants ranged from various themes and covered both buffet style restaurants and the more upmarket end for adults. The only problem is that it is quite expensive in the bars and the food within the park generally.

    Food Quality
  • The variety of food couls not be faulted and it was to a high standard in the more expensive restaurants. The range of beverages was good as it covered a wide range of cocktails and also a childrens cocktail menu in addition the expected bar list. Service was prompt and especially worth a visit is the fantasia cafe within the hotel where the waiters are dressed as fantasia crocodiles. Needless to say in most of the buffet restaurants there are many children so i found it better to eat later on when it wasnt so busy.

    Transportation Connection
  • Although artificial, the scenery is quite pretty and the lake that stands before the hotel is really a highlight of the surroundings. The hotel is located within the park, literally just off Main Street. The Disney Village is also 5 minutes walk away. The Disney village provides nightlife but it is more a family atmosphere rather than for the seasoned clubber. Culturally there is little other than Mickey Mouse but there is a train that goes directly from the park into the centre of paris so shopping and culture is close. The shopping in the park is limited to disney products so for anything else or something that is cheaper, head into paris.
