BeachPraia de Manta Rota

[trivago traveller, 29.01.2007] I have been holidaying in Manta Rota for 37 years and have become very attached to this little village and its community.
The beach stretches for miles with beautiful white sand and rolling dunes a favourite for those who love to stroll along the waters edge and always kept immaculately clean with a variety of activities provided for a fee.
The village itself has been gradually expanding over the last 20 years and will continue to do so with the introduction of the new nearby golf courses constructed bringing more visitors to this side of the algarve.
Manta Rota has a variety of restaurants with plans for new restaurants on the beach area all in keeping with this Ria Formosa area (like a national trust nature area)
I just hope it doesnt grow too big as it will spoil this village and the people whom i have become very close to over the years
