It's been a while since I last visited the Dexters restaurant in the Trafford Centre but every time I have it has always been nice. They serve loads of American dishes such a s big burgers and massive steaks and they have a huge menu to choose from.
The food is always really filling and the very first time myself and my fiance had ever been to this place we made the mistake of ordering a starter each and then the mains not realising how big the portions were! We were stuffed just after the starters!! The chiili is really nice in here and the steaks are always cooked to perfection - yum yum!
The Staff:
The staff are those kind that are there straight away as soon as you sit down - no sooner have they left thaan they are back again to take your order - sometimes a bit of a down side as there is so much to choose from it doesn't really give you enough time to get a proper look - however theya re always suoer friendly so this I cannot fault!
The whole place is pretty big and it's normally busy but not completely full that you cannot get atabel if you just walked in. They have a bar downstairs and seating both upstairs, downstairs and even a few tables outside behind the little railings - I like sitting outside as the Orient is decorated quite nicely and I personally like to people watch but if you want a bit more privacy it is better to ask for a table upstairs as these are quite cosy.
They always have music playing of some kind which normally has a jazzy feel to it which is quite nice and the restaurant isn't lit too brightly so it is quite nice for a relaxing meal.
Prices aren't too bad and are similar to those of restaurants of the same style with starters at around £4- 5 on average and mains at around £7- 10 on average - don't forget though that they are large sizes and it is usually bets to share a starter rather than order one each!
