[nam2505, 29/01/2012] My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in Feb 2009 and found this to be a very good hotel. The building itself has plenty of character with exposed beams and brickwork features incorporated into a modern renovation which is comfortable and has been done to a very high standard. The room wasn't the largest (but given the nature of the building this was no surprise) - it was however fitted out to a very high standard and very comfortable. This is the hotel where my husband and I stayed on our wedding day. [WilliamJRead, 27/02/2010] The pair of mid-Victorian warehouses that now form the Marriott Victoria and Albert Hotel have been expertly converted into a 4 storey, 4 star hotel just 10 minutes walk from the Arndale Centre. Much evidence of original brickwork, cast iron pillars and wooden beams gives the building an "atmosphere" that simply does not exist in newer, purpose built hotels.
