Hilton Manchester Deansgate
It was the Cloud 23 bar on the 23rd floor in the "UKs tallest building outside London" the author wanted to see. When he eventually managed it he declared it worthwhile,with "great views" and "a chilled vibe". Unfortunately not all the rest of the hotel lived up to this. The "brown and beige inspired" room smelt "a tad stale" and was "too dim". [more...]
