[ranger, 13/03/2009] Authentic Arabian-Islamic engineering
I visited the Khamis mosque (its called Masjid Al Khamys in the local language) a couple of week ago
The place was on maintenance (as you can see from the photo I took)
I was really impressed by the engineering of the building. Especially that this was build sometime like 692 AD !! also the symmetric minarets were amazing
The authentic Arabian-Islamic style and touch in obvious in the engineering of this building
It was a 20 minutes stop that sure worth it.
