Description: Gedi ist eine Ruinenstadt an der Ostküste von Kenia, ca. 16 km südlich von Malindi gelegen. Sie ist eine der bedeutendsten alten Handelsstädte, die an der Ostküste Kenias seit dem 9. Jahrhundert entstanden. Seine Ruinen sind noch sehr gut erhalten und gelten als Musterbeispiel ostafrikanischer Architektur.
