Mayaafushi Island After landing at the airport, we were taken by air-conditioned bus to the other side of the island to catch the seaplane; we had a 40 min wait, which gave us time for a cool drink. Embudu Village - Maldives The Maldives are off the lower west tip of Indian in the middle of the Indian Ocean. They are made up of several beautiful Atolls. It maybe a long review, but maybe helpful to those who are contemplating staying on this island. FLIGHT Our direct flight was 10.5 hours from Manchester with Monarch this time.
