[sorrentochickuk, 14/08/2011] My husband and i, our daughter and husband and our 11 year old grandson had a really lovely week! The rooms were lovely and clean and fairly spacious. We had fun in the well maintained pool, and enjoyed the snorkling from the little pier, even a lifeguard was in place to make sure of everyones safety. It was a pity that some Russians refused to listen to safety areas and pushed the bounderies swimming out of safe areas causing distress to the lifeguard The restaurant was the highlight, no matter what time we ate we were always greeted and shown a table, yes there were uncleared tables b

[Sirpa, 16/05/2009] Fine arabian horses, but few of them were in poor condition and they still had to work. Thin and tried. Pls remind the owner to give good care to all horses, not only few of them.
[gary1200, 01/10/2008] Two weeks in the sun, good food (although sometimes repetative) excellent staff, large clean rooms, coral reefs what more could you want. plently of sun beds and shade, pleanty of daytime entertainment if you want it, no hastle if you dont, half hour transfere from the Airport, the red sea one side and the desart on the other, just great, We would definatly go again.

[trivago traveller, 28/02/2006] We had a fab time at the Makadi Star. 5 star hotel which lived up to it's rating. Plenty of food and drink 1st class service and brand new hotel....lovely!
The staff couldn't do enough for you. Although they spoke german to us instead of English because the guests are mainly German. But it wasn't a problem as soon as they realised they switched to English. The spa was gorgeous and we highly recommend the 'Adam and Eve' for that extra splash of romance.
No tummy upsets, no problems just a fantastic time. We will go back and would recommend it. 100% Lovely holiday.

[trivago traveller, 24/02/2006] Excellent hotel with very helpful staff & amazing all-inclusive package! The hotel is kept extremely clean and well-maintained by an army of housekeeping and maintenance staff. Stayed for two weeks but didn't get bored of the food because of wide range & high quality. Although most guests seemed to be in for just sun & relaxation there is a good selection of sports activities in the hotel and surroundings. The all-incluse extends to a nice beach bar and there is an option to dine-around as well.
[Peter-Hadley, 20/02/2006] Hearing from a customer relations manager of her opinion that being a 5 star hotel with 3 star guests shows exactly what was her opinion of all of whom stayed there. Most annoying was the amount of boring germans whi constanly complained and bad manners and ill tempers. Room s were beautiful and the staff were great at all times. Ajoining rooms with a very noisy snooring german keeping us awake did not help, but with the quiet surroundings could catch up on missing sleep. We would recommend this hotel for the luxury it offers its guest with out question, and will return in more warmer months
