Description Iberotel Makadi Oasis
Iberotel Makadi Oasis is a four star hotel, located in the resort of Makadi Bay. The hotel is situated close to the beach and 35 kilometers distance from the city of Hurghada. It was built in the style of an Arabian village.
The hotel offers accommodation in 318 double rooms and 7 suites, which are equipped with television with satellite channels, air conditioning and heating, direct dial telephone and mini refrigerator. All rooms have balcony or terrace and private bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. Some of the rooms have connecting doors.
There is a main restaurant, serving dishes of national and international cuisine in a buffet style. Guests also can use 3 bars, offering alcoholic and soft drinks, Arabic coffee and traditional tea and oriental coffee house.
The Spa center in the hotel offers Jacuzzi, sauna, fitness salon, different kind of massages, herbal and steam bath, hamman and vegetarian restaurant and juice bar.

The Straits of Tiran is a passage of water which separates the Sinai and Arabian peninsulas off the coast of Egypt. The Straits vary in width from as little as 2.5 km up to 13 km.
Four reefs lie in the centre occupy the of the Strait and these are called Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon Reefs - they are named after British cartographers who mapped them. There is a large wrecked ship grounded on one of the reefs at a precarious angle.
Access is only possible by boat and the nearest major town is Sharm el Sheik which is approximately 1.5 hours away by boat.
