This historical art nouveau building has been sympathetically added to with contemporary architecture; the Herrenkrug Parkhotel is set in Herrenkrug Park, 5 kilometers from the Magdeburg city center. The 147 guestrooms are decorated in a variety of architectural styles and designs including the hotel's signature Art Nouveau; all include minibars, refrigerators, toiletries, Internet connections and satellite television with pay movie channels.
The hotel's spa includes a panorama swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and Turkish steam bath. Numerous body and face treatments, including massage, are available at the beauty farm, and there's also a tanning studio, hair salon and sundeck.
