We are told that the reviewer got a "reasonably spacious" room that was "quite comfortable" and had "a separate bathroom". There was "Satellite TV" that "was useful for keeping up with the news". The beds "were made appropriately" and "each morning" the rooms were cleaned "very well". It is mentioned that "Twin beds were provided" when a double bed was ordered and that was "disappointing". "Breakfast is served" in the restaurant but no other meals were taken there because the reviewer found "that there was too much fish on the menu". The Claridge is in a "contemporary building" that was "last renovated in 1994", so the author, Peter Stone. The location is near the Conde Casal bus station, while the Prado can be reached within "5 minutes" (taxi / metro). The public areas are "soothingly quiet" thanks to "soft carpets" and "triple glazing". The guest rooms are "well organized" and come with a "pleasant" design. They are however "small and compact". There's a "modern" bar in the hotel.
