Peter Stone starts by pointing out that it takes just "a few minutes" to reach the city center from the Gran Colón, by metro. The hotel dates back to 1966 and comes with "comfortable" rooms at "resonable" prices. The "setting" is "modern". The larger part of the rooms have balconies and are fitted in "traditional" style. Not all rooms are of the same size, but "most" are spacious and have "adequate closet space". The public area has "unusal stained-glass windows", the bar "paintings by Spanish artists". Frommers "highly recommends" this place (1 out of 3 Frommer's stars).
