Travel guide extract
[koshkha, 28.08.2007] A "bio-hotel" with a "splash of luxury" is an unusual combination. The Hermitage is an old building that's been "entirely refashioned" and given a "modern 'eco' eye". The reception area has a "wooden floor" and leads to a "vast and comfortable living room" with a "Tyrolean-tiled woodburner" in the middle. Open the windows and there's a balcony with "the best views in the Alps". In the stübe food is served at "red-clothed" tables and there's pleny of "homemade pasta". There's another "main" that's "larger" but just as "beautiful".
The bedrooms are "serene" and most have balconies. The Suites are "huge". The wooden floors have "Persian rugs or pale carpets from Argentina". If you are feeling energetic there's a "superb" wellness centre as well as an "indoor" pool with a sparkly ceiling.
Within ten-minutes walk you'll find "bars and chic boutiques" and during ski season the hotel provides its own bus "that shuttles you to the slopes".
