We were delighted to find this haven of relaxation and civility in Diego Suarez. It was a close call because where we had decided to stay was full, thank goodness. The Allamanda Hotel has terrific sea views, clean / functional rooms, a small pool and a welcoming restaurant. Ideal as a springboard into the Northern National Parks of Madagascar. [more...]

A winning place and wonderful rooms. Book up in advance to get a room, the other places are not a patch on this. Would be great if it had a bigger eating / bar area but you cannot have it all. [more...]
