[hannah_i, 07/07/2011] The Caves are actually not caves, but a former underground sandstone quarry, however they are really every bit as interesting with a lot of history. Helped by the fact that the tour guides are excellent, this attraction makes for a really fun hour with great stories and experiences. An amazing part for me was being shown what the absence of light is really like...it's absolutely unbelievable - so indescribable you have to experience it for yourself!. [Steffi88, 07/05/2010] Geweldig hotel, heel erg mooie kamer en heeeerlijke bedden! Hebben geslapen als een roos!
Wat onduidelijkheden bij het inchecken, omdat ze dachten dat we geen ontbijt hadden bijgeboekt, dit hadden we echter wel. Personeel is echter erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, dus dat was snel opgelost!
Kamer was goed schoongemaakt en het beddengoed was schoon. Een kluis aanwezig in de kamer, ook erg handig!
Minilaptops te leen voor op de kamer en gratis draadloos internet is natuurlijk helemaal ideaal als je het een en ander wilt opzoeken over Maastricht!
Wij hebben een geweldig weekend gehad!
[yoast, 28/08/2009] Friendly reception, tidy hotel entrance, room was very modern though a bit sober. Extra door between bedroom and room entrance not really necessary. Window in bathroom door bit out of place, no lock on bathroom door either. No tissues or bathmat in bathroom, very clean though.
Nice decorations in room. Breakfast ok, but a bit expensive (€ 17). Would recommend it for city trips, very close to train station.
[Iohan60, 16/08/2008] The Crowne Plaza is located at the borders of the "Maas"river that flows trough Maastricht. When you have a room on the river side you have a wonderful view on the old town. The hotel is located in the city centre. The old town is located just at the other side of the bridge, no more than a 5 minutes walk. The train station is about the same distance.
