Perfect location, good service, nothing impressive

[vasilevn, 09/06/2010] Do not get me wrong, I like this hotel. The rooms, the service and the breakfast are very good, but because of the hotel's business-style and the surrounding buildings there lacks the spirit of old Lucerne. However, only ten steps away and you are at the famous wooden Chapel Bridge. As a conclusion, If you like more modern style hotels and also taking in mind the fact that the hotels in the old part of Lucerne across the river are more expensive, I think that the hotel would like you.

[BenjiMayer, 19/05/2010] Location was just great! The hotel standard and service was excellent !!! We arrived late at night and restaurant served still food up to 0H30....so we got still the normal menu to choose from! The food was more than good... We enjoyed the large buffet breakfast in the morning and when we left the girl from reception offered us an apple for the way...nice gesture! Old town and shopping is in walking distance and we were able to leave luggage in the hotel without extra charge....in the lobby they have an internet corner for free :-)
