Traces of this glorious past are to be found in its monuments: the English Church, the Catene bridge, the Spa, the villas, the Casino (the first gambling house to be opened in Europe and nowadays a wonderful location for wedding receptions). The town provides some very good restaurants, where you can taste our traditional cuisine.
Enjoy beautiful walks, bicycle or horse rides on the hills around our properties, full of churches and Roman parishes. Nearby, Borgo a Mozzano and the Maddalena bridge, better known as the Devil’s bridge, the little canyon Orrido di Botri, the Garfagnana villages, Barga with its typical historical centre.
