Our one-of-a-kind location has a lot to offer: it provides the opportunity to benefit from the surrounding nature by Nordic walking, running, biking, horseback riding, swimming, hiking or climbing. Also, you can make trips to various locations. To Vienna, for example, it only takes you one hour by car.Our rooms are tastefully furnished with solid wood furniture. Nearly all of them have highspeed Internet access. All rooms are equipped with a shower, some with a bathtub and a Jacuzzi.In our restaurant we pamper you with regional delicacies. The new Steinschaler country cuisine offers healthy food as well as traditional dishes from the Dirndltal and the Mostviertel.The hotel is located in Warth (birthplace of the late cardinal Franz König), a part of the municipality of Rabenstein, approximately 20 km south of St. Pölten. You can reach us very easily by car or on the Mariazell narrow gauge railway.
The Dirndltal valley is named after its characteristic Dirndl fruits (European cornel) and is an ideal base to discover the many sights and attractions of the Mostviertel region. The Wachau Valley and the pilgrimage town of Mariazell are easily reachable.By train:
From St. Pölten, travel on the romantic Mariazell Railway and get off at the Steinschal-Tradigist station. After getting off the train, walk for about 150 metres in the direction of Mariazell, then turn right (walking time: 2 - 3 minutes).
