The hotel is with very good location if you have to change plane in LA.
I stopped there back from my Las Vegas trip and had over night in LA waiting for my overseas flight.
It is close to the airport, but don't expect luxury. Just sleep and go.

The room was middle size and as much clean as possible for such old room.
I didn't like the smell and the carpet cleanness.
The design was nothing special, just a normal American hotel room.
At least the bad was soft and comfortable.
The room had an old fridge, and an old TV with a new and working remote control.
The bath wasn't very new.

Architecture? Well, nothing special again, normal American hotel middle class.
Lobby was ok and there were a lot of brochures guiding you for attractions around.
I didn't go to the swimming pool as it didn't look so nice, but there were few children playing in it and parents taking sunbaths.
The staff was really nice and helpful.
Location and surroundings

It is about 10-15 minutes by the hotel's shuttle to the LAX. I think the shuttles were every 30 minutes.
There are few malls 5-10 minutes walking from the hotel. Offering clothes, cute house stuff and food.
Front of the hotel there is oil station where you can buy food as well. I think it works non-stop.
The location is not very noisy, so you can sleep well before the long overseas flight.
