According to the author this is the city's "best value" and "best boutique-style" hotel. Originally an old folks home, the "ultramodern" building has retained "design elements" from the original outside while offering "mod" public rooms inside. He was delighted and surprised with the way that "form merges with function beautifully" to create "luxurious accommodations".
