Exquisite, traditional hotel in lovely location
ProfMagellan about Bel-Air
I would certainly return. This is a five star hotel at five star prices apparently, according to one staff member, owned by the Sultan of Brunei (he who owns the Dorchester). The rooms vary in quality and we were lucky to get one of the very nicest. I imagine that some of them can be quite noisy. Also, the pool area is quite small and I imagine can be quite crowded at peak times. In January (and during construction) it was empty. Great that the owner continues to invest in the fabric.[...]
