Description: A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. Mamma Mia! is set on a Greek island. 20-years old Sophie lives there with her mother Donna who runs a little tavern. Sophie always wanted to know who her father is. When she finds her mother's diary where Donna describes intimate dates with three men, Sophie decides to invite them for her own wedding ceremony....

The musical is based on the songs of the Swedish pop group ABBA. It was written by British play-writer Catherine Johnson in cooperation with the two 'B's of ABBA, Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

Mamma Mia! premiered in London on April 6th, 1999 in the Prince Edward Theatre and was transferred to the Prince of Wales Theatre in 2004.
