[Sonia3, 18/12/2009] I lived in London for two years and during that time I avoided going to Oxford Street whenever possible. Visits to Oxford Street have been a regular thing for since I was a child and perhaps that is where my dislike comes from. I hated being dragged around shops when I was younger and Oxford Street was even worse because it was all the same shops only bigger, which meant more time was spent in them. [Zmugzy, 21/12/2007] Oxford Street is simply one of the best places to go shopping in London. Its easy to get there by any means of transport and from anywhere across London, but probably the best way is by tube. There are a number of lines and stations that will get you there. Bond Street via the Central Line / Jubilee Line, Marble Arch via the Central Line and Oxford Circus via the Bakerloo Line / Central Line / Victoria Line are probably the best options. In this review Saintly is saying she's a "complete shopaholic" and if your are anything like her Oxford street is a must. Oxford street "is the heart of shopping" according to Saintly and is situated in central London. She's writing about what shops you can find and there are "various shops on both sides".
