[joveneli, 15/02/2012] Our big trip with bus in London was amazing. To view a city on the move and see some of the most famous buildings and squares in the city is a big thrill. The walk went first to St. Paul's Cathedral and ended with a powerful parliament. We also saw the legendary Tower Bridge, Tower Castle - there is the royal treasure, Westminster Abbey. We walked along the famous and legendary Trafalgar Square. We looked at some of the most famous places in London. Tourists from around the world had come to see London - some of whom were quite attractive. This tour should definitely not be missed. Definitely

[serendipity, 14/02/2012] Museum of London Docklands
When we were in London we decided to find somewhere interesting to visit whih was away from the very centre, and this place seemed to fit the bill.
The museum was quite tricky to find even with the satnav but once we found it there was plenty of pay and display parking As well as by car it can also be accessed via boat bus or tube (West India Quay), so plenty of options.
After having spent a couple of days seeing sights in the centre of London, this was an oasis of calm, with boats moored on the river, warehouses housing shops and houses, and plenty of restaur

[petit_filou, 09/02/2012] Living close to London has the clear advantage that you can visit at any time you like and have some of the best attractions in the world are right on your doorstep. We do go and visit often, some of the museums see us several times a year. The more surprising it might sound that it took me 30 years to revisit the probably most famous wax museum in the world. The first time I’d visited was in the mid-80’s on a school trip. I remember being so jealous because one of my friends had a camera and got us all to make photos of her with the “best figures. The best were, of course, our heroes of the e

With such a location I find it perfect for a little break after visiting either of these, and the park offers plenty to do to keep the family happy.
Apart from plenty of shady trees and benches, which will be welcome to catch some breath after some serious sightseeing, you’ll find a café directly at the lake where you can re-energize. Be warned, it can be awfully bus

[petit_filou, 08/02/2012] Green Park is one of the smaller Royal Parks. It is located slap bang in the middle of one of London’s most popular tourist hotspots directly next to Buckingham Palace. It is a great place to take a little break on your way to / from Picadilly Circus to the palace.
As you’d expect from a park in such an illustrious neighbourhood, it is very clean and well looked after. Green Park consists mainly of lawns and shady trees, beautiful on a hot summer day when the city is sweltering. There is one memorial and a fountain, plenty of benches and you are welcome to sit on the grass, but no other faci

[serendipity, 07/02/2012] On a recent visit to London and with it being almost Halloween I bought some tickets to go to London Death Trap, since Little Miss is always wanting to do "spooky things".
This is advertised as the a live horror show where you will experience "the fright of your life".
LOCATION...
We knew the place was close to Westminster Bridge but not having lived in London for a number of years I had forgotten how to get around. With the number of people in the centre of London, it was quite a walk from Piccadilly across the bridge to the County Hall. Again, it was quite a fight to get to the attra

[clarkee73, 04/02/2012] We booked this hotel to stay in after a Burns Night Dinner and booked a few weeks ahead.
We tried to book one night through their website and it was not accepting cards and had to try again the next day. The cost of the room went up from £95 to £108 through no fault of ours. We had to pay it and we expected that Travelodge would have a customer service department that we could speak to.
Their website tries to answer all queries and at no time can you get to speak to anyone. This meant that we felt ripped off and that even when we checked in, there was the attitude of couldn't care less

[LondonVisitor, 03/02/2012] For a group of 17 people, we ordered set menu dinner of vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. Starters, main course and dessert were great. I didn't like the soup though everyone else enjoyed it too.
[BBBBLew, 27/01/2012] The room was too hot with the lowest setting only being 16C. Don't expect any room service while your there the phone just rings out. The room we where given was in the back of beyond and on the hour every hour some huge vent would go off for 5minutes which sounds like a plane outside the window. If your on a city break don't expect a sleep in because the walls are that thin you can hear the cleaners bashing around every room surrounding you! I've stayed in hotels in London in that past and not had any issues. In the case of this hotel it is best to go some where else and pay full price than s

[martanikolova, 17/01/2012] This is a "must-see" place, for sure! It is spectacular! Everything about this place is so royal, so majestic. I don't know what exactly impressed me so much, but I felt fantastic standing there. The monument in the front, the black gates with golden coating, the amazing street lights - every detail just screams "royal". I loved it there.
The monument in the front deserves a few words, too. It is also a fountain. The architecture it impressive and the golden statue on top if it is the perfect finish.
The entire scenery around is worth seeing and I suggest you don't miss it for anything in th

[martanikolova, 17/01/2012] This is a unique building with an amazing architecture and wonderful details. This building is one of the most impressive ones I have ever seen. The building with its elements, standing next to the river - this is a scenery everyone should see. All I could say while watching it was "WOW". It really made an impression on me.
It is located in the central part of London (in Westminster) and we reached the place using the underground. I was able to see it at night and it was magnificent.
[martanikolova, 17/01/2012] Wonderful, wonderful place. During my stay in London a few years ago, the hotel I stayed at was located very near to Hyde Park. This was the only reason I managed to see this place, since I was there for a business trip and didn't have much free time. I am happy to have seen this park. Even though it was in the autumn, I could still see the beauty of the park. It was very clean (which always draws my attention, because I can't say the same about the parks in Bulgaria) and really enormous. I couldn't even see the whole area, I think I would need a whole day to be able to walk through it all. Th

[martanikolova, 17/01/2012] The London underground is very well organised and easy to use. It takes you fast to wherever you want to go and the chance of getting lost is minimum. It is well connected with the bus stops. There was an underground station about 10 minutes walk from the hotel I stayed at and three different underground lines stopped there (I think the name of the station was Gloucester). I liked the London underground system, even though it doesn't cover all f the area in London and you have to combine with other transport for reaching some places.
[martanikolova, 11/01/2012] This really is a charming hotel. The interior brought me back in time, with some ancient looking furniture and items and I really felt very cosy everywhere in the hotel. And at the same time it offers all the modern technologies of the present era. It is a lovely mixture of the old and the contemporary and I am really glad I was able to see this exact hotel. We chose it mostly because of the location - it is right next to the Bulgarian Embassy, where we had some work to do. Location is amazing due to another fact - the closeness to Hyde park. Only because of this I was able to see this wonderf

[martanikolova, 11/01/2012] This is really something! One of the most beautiful bridges I have seen with very interesting architecture and magnificent looks. It is no accident it has become of of the symbols of London. It is especially beautiful at night with amazing lights, which bring additional majestic feeling to the bridge. I can't say much more about it, because I only saw it passing by a couple of times (I was in London for a business trip and didn't have much time to walk around), but I will surely go there again some day!
[martanikolova, 11/01/2012] Well, the clock tower known to the public as Big Ben is really an impressive architectural landmark of London. I understand why everyone's first stop during a sightseeing tour is the Big Ben. The architecture of the tower is really impressive and there are some pretty amazing details. I didn't have much time to observe every bit of it, since I was only passing by (I was in London for a business trip, not a holiday), but I was impressed. I also saw it during the evening and it was a great view as well - all lit up and beautiful.
[bluejules, 08/01/2012] Introduction
In October, I went to London with my parents to meet my MP as part of a mass mobilisation of Parliament (raising awareness of the importance of Speech and Language Therapy) and the RCSLT Giving Voice Awards Ceremony. We wanted a hotel that was in central London as I knew there wouldn’t be much time between meeting with my MP and getting ready to head back out for the evening Gala Dinner and Awards. My dad booked the flights well in advance but still hadn’t booked a hotel with only a couple of weeks to go so my mam decided to look online and found us this 4 star hotel for 2 nig

[sameh111, 29/12/2011] The hotel is located in a nice peaceful location. it is deserves 5 stars. I loved it and wished to go back to it again. . the staff is friendly and very helpful, welcoming and greeting at the reception upon arrival, and helpful when we had any questions, very good. nice breakfast with lots of choice and the staff again were very vigilant, everything was a lot of trouble if he asked for anything. the room was perfectly fine, and comfortable and very spacious. the bathroom was beautiful. we asked for additional bathroom products and they arrived within a few minutes of our request.
[sameh111, 25/12/2011] We really enjoyed the National Gallery i can not believe that the entrance free, and we rent headset, which I think he paid a visit as it gives details of the many pieces of art. Should try to fit this your table if you love art. .. Make sure that you do not miss him, the horse and a wonderful realistic. Easy to navigate designs, in contrast to the British Museum and others.
I love the National Gallery in everything! Catalog for great paintings, including da Vinces, Van Gogh and a million other people - in addition to my country and This beautiful building is located on Trafalgar Square has a
