Elaborate park at the edge of Central London

, 29/11/2011] This rounded-shape park is on the edges of what might be considered Central London. Relatively large, at 410 acres it has both with open parkland and formal sections - the rose gardens (Queen Mary's Gardens) feature 400 different varieties and are a sight to behold in the flowering season. The plant life is very varied, from open playing fields to woodlands and grassland. It's perhaps the most lavish and purposefully designed of the London parks, designed by John Nash in this wonderful flourish of British town planning that was the Regency period, and the buildings contained within and around

, 26/03/2009] The last time I visited Regent's Park was in July 2008. The park is just right next to where my friend lives. We went there for an easy and lazy Saturday. Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks and has 410 acres of land. It has the largest grass area for sports in Central London. The London Zoo is also located inside the park.
