[petit_filou, 18/02/2012] Kew gardens are one of the most fascinating botanic gardens I’ve ever come across. The gardens are located in the Southwest of London but can easily be reached by public transport, the District Line will take you directly to Kew Gardens station. I’d not recommend arriving by car, unless you have to, as parking is extremely hard to find and a costly affair. Talking about costly brings me right to the one thing about Kew I do not like their rather exorbitant entrance fees! [magdadh, 29/11/2011] This is one of the major London attractions, and accordingly it's quite expensive (13GBP for adults, though under 17s are free if in an adult's company) but well worth a visit and could easily be treated as a whole day out. [roseycheeks, 26/03/2009] The last time I visited Kew Gardens was in 1996. I had to do an Art project on plants, so I took the opportunity to visit the garden as well as getting my homework done. I went there during April time so the weather was quite nice then. It is called Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew but people usually just called it Kew Gardens.
