, 17/01/2012] This is a "must-see" place, for sure! It is spectacular! Everything about this place is so royal, so majestic. I don't know what exactly impressed me so much, but I felt fantastic standing there. The monument in the front, the black gates with golden coating, the amazing street lights - every detail just screams "royal". I loved it there. The monument in the front deserves a few words, too. It is also a fountain. The architecture it impressive and the golden statue on top if it is the perfect finish. The entire scenery around is worth seeing and I suggest you don't miss it for anything in th

Buckingham Palace
Date published: Aug 2006
Author: Darwin Porter
Article
The author describes Buckingham Palace, which is "one of London's most popular attractions", as being a "massive, graceful building ". The author gives some history of the Palace and states that it was originally "built as a country house for the notoriously rakish Duke of Buckingham" so it didn't become "the official royal residence" until Queen Victoria decided "she preferred it to St. James's Palace". Buckingham Palace is located "in a 40-acre (16-hectare) garden" and is "354 feet (108m) long". Inside the Palace there are "600 rooms". The author continues with the article and states

Author: Carol West
Article
Carol West wrote that the "opportunity" to see inside one of the "most recognised" royal residences was "irresistible". She stated that the royal palace "obviously" has a "wide appeal". Carol talked about the iron and bronze front gates which lead past the Portland stone facade. She said that she walked through an "impressive" Ionic portico to the Court of St, James's. In her opinion, the State rooms were "lavishly" decorated and "meticulously" maintained. She said that the decor was planned by a John Nash in 1825 and the results were "luxury", with "dramatic impact" and a "theatrical effec
