Tate Modern is dedicated to exhibit the national collection of international modern art (works created after 1900). Opened in 2000, it was build at an old power plant on the south banks of the Thames. The complete collection of Tate Modern can be viewed on their website with detailed information and explanatory texts on each exhibit. Getting there: Ten minutes walk from Jubilee line (get off at Southwark) or District and Circle Line (Blackfriars).
