[Mikesh, 03/11/2011] It is a must see for any tourists. The view is spectacular from the top. We had heard about the line and had gone by 11. It still took some time but we were on the ride soon. On the top you get the view of the entire city. Once we were done we saw the huge lines and were happy we had gone early.

[TJT87, 02/03/2011] It was a great experience... From the London Eye you have a great view on the South Bank of the River Thames... You can see the Palace of Westminster, the Big Ben and the Waterloo station. Especially, for families it is a nice thing to do in London. A ride takes around 30-40 Minutes, so you have enough time to enjoy the brilliant scenery of London. In addition, London Eye tickets include a free 4D show in the new 4D cinema, which is also located in the London Eye complex... Dont forget you camera and enjoy!

The writer to this review was a bit worried about "being carried hundreds of feet in the air" in a glass eye but the writer, who calls herself Carrow_Road_Canary decided to give it a go. Carrow_Road_Canary and her party had prebooked tickets but even so they had to wait in line for about an hour before "boarding our flight". The weather was nice and "the company pleasant" according to the writer so the wait went quickly. "We boarded our ever moving capsule" and "the excitement began". The author continues and she found that after "buying our tickets we waited approximately 35 minutes to board a capsule".
