[ProfMagellan, 24/11/2008] The location on London's best shopping street cannot be beaten. This seems like an art deco hotel but actually it dates from the 1950s and has been refurbished to a reasonably high standard. It is certainly well run though allowing a cleaner to perform her hoovering two inches away from me whilst I was trying to check out was slightly fawlty towers esque. Main criticism is that the rooms are very small and the beds unyieldingly rock like. Some of the plumbing leaves a little bit to be desired. Internet access too is messy and xpensive.
