The hotel is housed within a row of large terraced houses that date from the 1830's, which have been completely modernised. The Sumner combines some of the original Georgian features with a new modern contemporary design.
Each of the rooms have been individually designed and feature air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar, a refrigerator and writing desk. All of the rooms have en suite bathrooms and have access to a high speed wireless internet connection, which is free of charge for all guests. Each room has a traditional open fireplace and wooden floors.
A buffet style breakfast with tea or coffee is included in the price.
The reception is open 24 hours a day and a concierge is on hand to assist with the booking of tickets or to offer general advice.
The Sumner is ideally located for visiting the main tourist attractions of London and is just a 5 minute walk away from Oxford Street. The nearest tube station is at Marble Arch, which is also a 5 minute walk away.
