[more]The Darlington Hyde Park hotel is a four star hotel in a converted Victorian town house near the Paddington end of the Park. It has 40 guestrooms, divided into doubles, twins and suites. All have en-suite facilities, together with wifi, refrigerators, flat screen TVs, safe, hair dryer and hospitality tray. Breakfast is served in the conservatory and there is a choice of continental buffet or full English. There is no restaurant or bar but alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased at reception, which is open 24 hours, and meals can be ordered in. No smoking is allowed anywhere in the hotel.
The hotel is particularly conscious of security and provides electronic keycards for access to the lobby and bedrooms and exterior CCTV monitoring. Women on their own are provided with additional security.
The hotel is 5 minutes from Paddington Station for mainline services and the Heathrow Express. There is easy access to London attractions via underground and Hyde Park is a short walk.
