Fodors describe the Bentley Kempinski as "an elegant escape in Kensington". This "opulent hotel" is "housed in a creamy white Victorian building". The lobby is "a gorgeous explosion of marble, with high ceilings, chandeliers and original architectural detail". The bedrooms have "silk wallpaper, golden furnishings, and fine marble bathrooms". They are described as "almost palatial by London standards". The staff are said to be "obliging". There is a "marble Turkish steam room" that "is a unique haven from the stresses of the day". This hotel has two restaurants. Both of these "serve modern British cuisine with continental touches". There are also two different bars here as well. One of these is the "Malachite" which "is a quiet bar for a brandy after dinner". Whilst the "Cigar Divan" is a place "for Havana cigars and mature whiskies" is the other.
