[etali, 11.11.2006] I have been disappointed with the past couple of stays in this hotel. I would still use them again if I needed a cheap room at short notice, but for those who want something more than that I would not recommend them.

If you are just looking for somewhere that is inexpensive, but still allows easy access to central london then this place is OK.

Cleanliness

Rooms vary depending on which floor you get placed upon. They are always acceptable size, but some of them look rather dated and could use an update. The bedding has always been clean on each of my several stays, but the bathrooms have often been in need of a clean.

Front Desk

The hotel bar is fairly nice, with a friendly bar man and a decent selection of drinks. On my last two stays the rest of the hotel staff have changed, and the previous helpful people have been replaced with poor english-speakers who are also very rude.

Breakfast by default is continental, an extra fee is charged for English. There is a restraunt, but it is only open at certain times of the day.

Located fairly close to a train / underground station it is easy to get to wherever you want to be. There are a number of pubs and restraunts of various kinds within walking distance.
