The author tells us that this hotel has undergone "a spectacular makeover" which has transformed it "from cheap and mediocre to cheap and chic."
It is decorated in a "minimalist theme" but we are told that the lobby "is dominated by a gorgeous teak arch from Jaipur."
The rooms also have an Eastern them with "hand-carved beds from the Far East" and "wooden floors." and there are "CD players and dataports" that the author describes as lending "an air of modern luxury."
Finally we are advised that the bathrooms are "marble" and that the hotel has "got a trendy juice bar, too."
