Asian-influenced tranquillity in busy Earls Court.
The Lonely Planet Guide tell us how "first impressions" can be "entirely misleading" at the Mayflower Hotel. Its "white-iced Victorian building" exterior is very different to the interior. The author tells us that this hotel has undergone "a spectacular makeover" which has transformed it "from cheap and mediocre to cheap and chic." It is decorated in a "minimalist theme" but we are told that the lobby "is dominated by a gorgeous teak arch from Jaipur."
