The Langham Hotel
The author notes that the hotel "languished" as a BBC office until Hilton International "painstakingly restored" it in the 1990s. The Langham is centrally situated near Regent's Park and is within "easy reach" of theatres and shopping. He was impressed with the public rooms, which reflect the "British Empire at its apex".
