I stayed in this hotel 2nd March 2012 and it was the best experience I've had in London... and I stay here quite often!
The hotel is a short walk from Pimlico Tube station and accessible via the no. 88 bus. It is so easy to find, follow signage for Tate Modern and Voila!! A taxi to/from the West End is only £12-14 and there is generally one or two outside, or the hotel will call one if needed.
The staff were superb, very welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble, ask and you shall receive.
The food was beautifully cooked and again service in the restaurant and at breakfast was great.
All guests are given a scrummy warm cookie on arrival - a very nice touch for the weary traveller and it went down a treat.
The room was immaculate, free wifi and an apple mac, great for leisure and business. The view from our room was towards the inner courtyard, but that was fine for us, we enjoyed the view while waiting for the lift.
There is a covered passage from the Hotel entrance to Millbank which we used to start our morning stroll along the Thames.
All in All, we had a brilliant experience for a remarkable price, however I'd return and happily pay the rack rate.
