It was built in 1897 and then named the Coburg it was renamed in 1917 after Queen Victoria’s son Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught. Rooms and suites have been recently refurbished to a high standard.
No two rooms in the hotel are the same all have been designed with comfort and luxury in mind by the designer Guy Oliver. Italian linen , Damask curtains , fitted mahogany wardrobes ,original artwork , TV and room safe are all things that come as standard. All rooms are en-suite featuring white Thassos marble and complimentary toiletries are by Asprey
Guests can enjoy Michelin star food at Helene Darroze at the Connaught in the luxurious restaurant while the Espelette is a more relaxed bistro again offering food by Helene Darroze or afternoon teas. Drinks can be enjoyed in the ultra stylish Connaught Bar or the more traditional and inviting Coburg Bar a past winner of Best Bar in London.
