, 28/06/2010] While Ljubljana’s is not the most impressive or interesting of Slovenia’s many castles it is certainly worth a look if you are visiting the city. Its elevated position gives access to terrific views which alone is a good reason to warrant a visit and once there you can opt to see as much or as little as you prefer. The castle is not the fairytale version with turrets and towers but a typically central European style castle; it is predominantly baroque in style with a few later additions.
