Awesome cathedral, the City of Culture, Liverpool (07.07.2008 07:38)
The cathedral dominates and yet sits well within the City. The exterior is awesome (in every sense) but the interior is the jewel in the crown. Stained glass fills every space possible and is of every hue imaginable, the effect is of being cradled within a prism of light. Sean Rice's stations of the cross and Abraham deserve special mention, love them or hate them, they are powerful images
