[Iohan60, 18/08/2008] Bringing you back in an Medieval atmosphere the Castlefest is a must for those who want to experience the romantic medieval times. The festival is a coming toghether of everybody who has anything to do with medieval role-playing, larp, music, and related. The atmosphere is wonderful, and this year's (2008) weather was wonderful. An event you should not miss. Just forget about the famour Keukenhof tulips. :-)

It was immediately after an overnight trip on the Harwich Hook of Holland ferry (not a journey I recommend) but even in my befuddled state (can one be channel-lagged?) I recognised two things. Firstly the place was a knock-out, and secondly my husband would love it. It has taken until this year to unite him with the Keukenhof.
