Frommers rate the National Museum of Ancient Art as "exceptional" and state that it exhibits "the country's greatest collection of paintings" as well as a "remarkable collection of gold- and silversmiths' works", sculptures, "Flemish tapestries" and "Italian polychrome ceramics". On display also is "a rich assemblage of church vestments" and "the polyptych from St. Vincent's monastery" circa 1470.
