Shelleys Hotel, Lewes, East Sussex
This is an overnight stay that did not start well but improved dramatically. No Worcester sauce for the Bloody Mary and a lack of knowledge of English writers in a house owned by the Shelley family, however, are perhaps not reasons to mark down a hotel.
